Sitting here at my computer after a day that seemed interminable,
\nteary toward the end.
\nThe moon is waning and so is my energy,
\nmy soul is tired.
\nIt was a day when I would have loved to phone my mom and just hear her voice –
\nBut she is not here in body.<\/p>\n

So, I sit –
\nface covered in Earth,
\nsipping a nectar made of flowers
\nthat came forth from the same womb which birthed me,
\nand my limbs begin to relax,
\ncomforted by the thought that there is another Mother I can still touch,
\none who offers physical comfort and rest when I need it most.<\/p>\n
