I’m trying hard to keep it organized\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

but it’s never fancy<\/p>\n

or decorated<\/p>\n

like my sister’s house<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

she has impeccable taste<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The morning sweeping\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and bed making<\/p>\n

got me to thinking about it<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We’ve only bought a few items<\/p>\n

ourselves<\/p>\n

A bed<\/p>\n

some chairs<\/p>\n

and shelves<\/p>\n

for our thousands of books<\/p>\n

and old school cd’s<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Everything secondhand<\/p>\n

So babies don’t ruin anything<\/p>\n

too important<\/p>\n

and so we can afford it<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But this morning<\/p>\n

as I look around my house<\/p>\n

I realize that<\/p>\n

I see love wherever I look<\/span><\/p>\n

because most of it<\/p>\n

has been given to us<\/p>\n

by people who love us<\/p>\n

pack-n-play from Chelley<\/p>\n

rocking chair from my mom<\/p>\n

bedspread from Auntie K<\/p>\n

innumerable gifts of clothing<\/p>\n

from Grandma<\/p>\n

and Judy<\/p>\n

and Christy<\/p>\n

and Lo<\/p>\n

and Naynay<\/p>\n

and Suz<\/p>\n

and Becky<\/p>\n

and Amber<\/p>\n

and those I can’t even remember right now<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Piano from Jim and Colleen<\/p>\n

“sold” so inexpensively they nearly gave it<\/p>\n

computer built by John<\/p>\n

Troubleshooting by Eric<\/p>\n

Cooking knives by Sam and Pam<\/p>\n

and steaks<\/p>\n

Food from Scott and Dani<\/p>\n

Cooking by Robert<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Complete and utter house destruction daily<\/p>\n

by my kids<\/p>\n

Cleanup by me<\/p>\n

and the kids<\/p>\n

And so many more things that<\/p>\n

I don’t even remember<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lots of crazy\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and joy<\/p>\n

and fun<\/p>\n

and yelling – honestly!<\/p>\n

and love<\/p>\n

have lived here<\/p>\n

because of that generosity<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And I am thankful<\/p>\n

To be so blessed<\/p>\n
